Our apartments have been designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Offering 5 wide categories of rooms, namely the Standard Queen Bed Apartments, the Standard Twin Apartments, the Deluxe Queen Apartments, the Boutique Apartment, and the Accessible Wheelchair Apartment. All our rooms are supported with modern facilities that help you sail through your vacation seamlessly. These modern apartments comes with a fully functioning kitchenette, comfortable beds, air-conditioner/heater, a flat-screen LCD TV, a washroom with toiletries, and free Wi-Fi. Each apartment is also tastefully decorated and features quality furnishing and fittings. All our apartments have a lovely view over Simpson Street from large windows in the lounge and bedroom. Apartments are fully serviced Mondays and Fridays. On weekends and public holidays, extra towels are provided for these periods. If you require a service throughout the week, please let our friendly reception team know.

  • What are the reception hours of Birches Serviced Apartments ?

    Staff will be present on location during the following times. Weekdays: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Weekends: 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. Other times we are just a phone call away 03 9417 2344 After hours check-in can be arranged. Please expect some changes due to COVID-19 pandemic. Contactless check-in & check-out. Timings are subject to change without notice and may be different on public holidays. If arriving outside of reception hours, please contact our office after booking is made. Apartments are fully serviced Mondays and Fridays but not on weekends and public holidays, extra towels are provided for these periods.

  • How far is Birches Apartments from the Melbourne airport?

    Birches Serviced Apartments is located in the eastern suburb of Melbourne city which is a 40 minute drive from Melbourne's airport at Tullamarine. It is approximately AUD$70 for taxi service to get to the airport. Otherwise you can use the Starbus shuttle service which ranges from AUD$18-$25 per person one way. From the airport, Starbus(temporary closed)will drop you at Birches door step. For your return way to the airport, we can also organise the shuttle service or Taxi for you as requested.

  • Are there any tourist attractions near your serviced apartments?

    Staying with us, there are so many activities you could do. We are situated close to Fitzroy Garden (5 minutes walk), Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) (10 minutes walk) and Rod Laver Arena (15 minutes walk). It only needs 10 minutes to take you to Queen Victoria Market by tram no.24.

  • Where can I find good restaurants in the area?

    You will discover many Cafes and Restaurants around this area. Famous Vietnamese and Asian restaurants along Victoria Street, just 5 minutes walk from us. Or you can enjoy the stylish cafes and restaurants on Brunswick street (5 minutes by taxi). Restaurants along Lygon Street, well-known for Italian and European cuisine are less than 10 minutes by taxi from Birches Serviced Apartments. Nearby, you can enjoy your meal with great food and bar meal at The Yorkshire Arms, located just 5 minutes walk from Birches.

  • How far is the nearest supermarket and bottle shop?

    We have an IGA Supermarket & bottle shop 3 minutes walk from Birches on Victoria Parade. If you tell them you are staying at Birches and present your key you will receive a 5% discount.

  • What credit cards are accepted by Birches Serviced Apartments ?

    Visa, Mastercard and American express. There is a small surcharge of 1.3%. We do not accept Diners Card.

  • Do the apartments have washing/drying facilities?

    The apartments do not have their own washing/drying facilities however there is a communal laundry on the 1st level which is coin operated.

  • What is check-in and check-out times for Birches Serviced Apartments?

    Check In Time is 2:00pm (flexible), Check Out Time is 10:00am. Late Check-outs are available at a small additional fee of $50.00.
